The Bat

The Bat centres around when a child’s toy rubber bat vanishes from the school nursery, a mother descends into hell in this subtly darkly humorous critique of Hungarian society. The event incites animosity, blame, suspicion and eventually tragedy, painting a grotesque picture of the traps that the Buda Hill bourgeoise sets itself.
